McFam will create community portals with a view to engaging communities in interesting discussions and dialogues related to relevant topics and current issues.

Community Engagement through Governance

The governance system of McFam is designed in view of the unique and innovative attributes of the university. The system is balanced, transparent, accountable, credible, and dynamic to achieve a reputation of excellence. It seeks to faithfully implement policies and strategies and clearly identify areas of authority, responsibility and accountability. Indeed, it seeks to uphold the notion of transparency in decision making. 

A Wider Agenda for Transforming Society

McFam continuously strives to create awareness and encourages research and innovation.  Recognizing its responsibility towards the society and region where it operates, the university has taken a lead in starting many initiatives since its inception. Believing in the importance of networking, exchanging best practices, and conducting collaborative, McFam took the initiative to launch a regional association: MAGScholar to serve the interests of the Asia Pacific region.

MAGScholar regularly organises awareness programs in areas of great relevance to the community. These programs are addressed by the President of MAGScholar through seminars, workshops, interest group meetings and media organisations. Other senior officials of the University also address community awareness programs throughout the year.

Another initiative of McFamU is the establishment of Professeurs sans Frontieres (Professors without Borders) that provides academics services to students worldwide. With many years of teaching, research and services accorded to their university, these retired and semi-retired itinerant professors will visit and share their knowledge and experiences with students in regions where their services are required.

Employer Engagement

McFam engages a cross –section of employers at various levels of academic and professional activities. The employer engagement starts at the highest level of McFam’s governance system where eminent decision makers participate and contribute practical ideas for making the programs and curricula relevant in the context of field realities.
